Overwater Villa Pool and Deck
The W Maldives has Beach Oasis and Overwater Villas. The Suites are upper category are called the WOW Ocean Escape and the Extreme WOW Ocean Haven and these rooms are absolutely a dream come true. All of the W Villas are modern and circular in shape, white flowing curtains and all of the modern amenities you could dream of including a Bose surround sound system.
One of the most beautiful features of these villas are the gorgeous day beds on the villa deck that are shaded by a canopy of sheer flowing fabric draped over the wooden circular frame. These daybeds are the perfect place to have lunch or laze the afternoon away. The private plunge pools are designed with the same cool, dark colors that attract you to the main pool.

The W has three restaurants providing guests with a gourmet experience. Kitchen the main restaurant is set back from the water’s edge in the shade of the palm trees with a long water feature lining the edge. It even has some tables in the water feature so that you can dine with your feet and ankles in the water. On your first breakfast at Kitchen, you are invited to select one of their individually designed coffee mugs for your use every morning of your stay. It is a really lovely touch.
Fire is an extraordinary restaurant set on the beach with an enormous fire pit in the centre and tables dotted around. There is a team of chefs just waiting to prepare anything you like, anyway you like. Fish is located overwater in the lagoon, with their specialty being freshly caught seafood which you can select your very own piece yourself.
