Niyama is a stunning resort with contemporary villas, most with private pools. Splashes of brightly coloured furnshings tie in perfectly with the turquoise lagoon and soft, white sand beaches. Niyama is a resort that is a hip playground for the young and the young at heart, with an over-water restaurant accessible only by boat and the world's only underwater bar.
Niyama is part of the Per AQUUM resort collection and is the sister property to the very well known Huvafen Fushi Resort. Niyama could be decribed as the more playful and upbeat version of the more sophisticated yet chilled Huvafen Fushi. Like Huvafen, Niyama also offers the Thakaru or butler service. On arrival you meet your Thakaru and they will look after your every need.

Must Do: Dine at the over-water restaurant and follow with a drink at the under-water bar. How could you match this anywhere in the world! What is so great about the under-water bar is that you can enjoy it in a very casual way, every day of your stay, day and night. Whereas an under-water restaurant is much more formal with meals averaging $300 per person and is more of a once only event.
Dining at Niyama matches the resort vibe perfectly. It offers multiple options that are all modern and completely unique. The main restaurant Epicure is beautiful and decorated in cool colours. Set around the stunning main pool, breakfasts here are the perfect way to start the day, looking out over the pool with the bright yellow umbrellas spotted around the beach.
Must Do: Take in a sunset at Farenheit and for something different see day change to night at the under-water bar. One of our favourite activities is an excursion on the stunning traditional Maldivian Dhoni sail boat.
Niyama is a watersports adventure playground. It has a house reef located close to the island and is a swimmable distance for confident fit swimmers. For those wanting to relax on their break, the resort offers a speed boat excursion to the reef.

The Lime Spa is an experience not to missed. Keeping with the theme of the resort, the Spa has a funky and bright feel to it with cool whites decorated with crisp citrus greens. You can't help but feel rejuvenated after a Lime treatment. The Spa is set on the beach front within beautiful gardens and lagoon views. Ther perfect way to recharge the batteries.
